Great work Duane...

Loading the USBIO drivers did indeed do the trick..

Many thanks,

Walter/K5WH ...

Bingo!! I do believe I figured it out.

As it turns out Jeff's question about the USB driver was key. Basically my
interpretation of what happena is that the *first* time PWRSDR is run it
expects to find the USB driver for Ozy which in turn implies to the program
that there is a Janus.

So what I did to fix this was to install the USBIO driver to support
Janus/Ozy. Connected my Janus/Ozy card stack, and then launched PWRSDR. It
immediately was able to come completely up. I then closed the PSDR program,
removed the Janus/Ozy, reconnect the Metis/Mercury and launched again, this
time no complaints. Aha!!

So what I think it boils down to is that all the folks running Ozy/Mercury
for sometime now and then later changed to Metis later did not encounter
this. While those of use who fired up machines that never ran Ozy/Janus
previously did run into this problem.

So in the end I doubt it has anything to do with W7 x64 itself, but instead
starting with a "clean" machine in terms of having never run Ozy/Jaus.
