[hpsdr] Windows 7 64bit Errors

Just go to the Flex-Radio website downloads area and search for the USBIO installer. The driver is 32 bit, but it did install without complaint on my W7 x64 box.

It was created by Flex to support controlling the SDR-1000 via USB. Later when the Janus/Ozy board pair was created that driver was used as part of the code chnages in PSDR to support the Janus/Ozy. Now that we have the Metis I wouldn't hink jhaving that driver being installed would still be strictly necessary, but the code as written today still does require it.

I'm not yet sure if the driver is needed to be present at all times with Metis, or if only for the first time PSDR is run. I think I'll try removing that driver today and see if it still works.
