Another question:
I've also had to set my Windows 7 to "Test Mode" or some of the drivers
won't work, such as the virtual serial port patch.

Will running in Test Mode reduce performance?

I want to try and persevere with Win 7, rather than just give in and use
XP, as it is running ok, and XP won't be supported forever.
How are other HPSDR/PowerSDR users going with OS Win 7, 64 bit?
