[hpsdr] TX precautions?

Hi

I'm moving at a snails pace towards getting my software running on
Metis/Mercury/Penny. I'm about to test out the TX path but just wondered
if there is anything I should watch out for before I press the button. I
don't have my PennyWhistle built yet. The questions I have are:
what sequencing happens when I set MOX in the command data
is there any way that damage could be done and should I take any
precautions
