Location: Spaceport Indiana (Columbus IN Bakalar Airport) 39.28 -85.90

White Star WB8ELK HF transmitter:  7.102 MHz USB (tune the signal around 1700 hz audio)....once a minute for the first part of the flight.

Starts with CW altitude(meters), DominoEX16 (full telemetry), 110 baud ASCII RTTY (full telemetry) followed by Hellscreiber altitude.

Decode with a special version of FLdigi called:  dl-FLdigi....do a Google search for  "dl-FLdigi" and download the one from GitHub you'll want version r115.

When running dl-FLdigi HAB version, select WB8ELK2 in the menu option and hit the Autoconfigure button....you can change the mode with a button on the right.

40 meters is open world-wide at night so give a listen and you might hear it.

The flight path will take it out over VA and out to sea...about halfway across the Atlantic in 24 hours.

Note that on Saturday, another HF balloon will be flying from near Jackson, MS on either 14.079 MHz USB or 14.104 MHz USB (audio around 1500 hz) with the same CW, DominoEX16, RTTY and Hellscreiber format. However the callsign for that flight will be KC5NXD. Launch around 9 am CST on Saturday.

The Pell City AL High School flight scheduled for noon CST on Saturday may be scrubbed due to thunderstorms (rain date TBD)....it will be on 14.105 MHz USB (1300 hz audio with the same format under the callsign: WB8ELK).
