Hi, Bill. I have not seen anyone else respond to your question yet.

Look closely at your pre-wound T3 transformer. The primary is formed by the
metal tubes that pass through each side of the core. The small pc-board
material "end caps" complete the winding and provide for connection to the
PC board. The green Teflon wire that forms the secondary winding actually
runs -inside- the primary.
