Not to take away any of Thor's potential thunder, but this amp kit in 
the making might be of interest to HPSDR users.  Check out this web site.

This amp is based on the Freescale MOSFET MRFE6VP61K25.  Videos showing 
use of this rugged mosfet in PAs built for 2m can be found via google.  
This is the first instance I've come across of an amp designed for HF + 
6m using this device.  I'm curious what others make of this.
