The svn is if you want to compile the source code which does not sound
like what you want to do.

It did take me one day to catch the download page up with Phil's posting
on the svn but to update your boards with Metis is on the download page.

Not sure what you did but the pennymerge is one of about 25
subdirectories on the site and you do not want to download the full svn
as it has several gigs of code.
