Open HPSDR,

Just some 'news' regarding the Jackson Labs GPSTCXO.

I have been able to calibrate Excalibur with the GPSTCXO with J1 removed
from Excalibur (since the JL EVB outputs to a High-Z).

That seems to work OK. There are a few errors in the docs - like the
module is 3.3V not 5V. The EVB has a 5V to 3.3V converter on it. Also
there is a 1PPS output on the EVB (just some slight rework that isn't
reflected in the docs nor the schematic).

Said has given me updated files, schematic plus gerbers for the EVB. I
will update the Wiki later today with links.

Overall I think this looks like a good/great candidate solution. The
console program provided by JL works fine plus I downloaded GPS CON and
that works fine as well.

If anyone else is interested in acquiring a unit, which contains the
module, antenna, EVB board, USB cable, and software CD - please let me know
and I will e-mail you the information.

73's,
John
