Not only that, but, at least in the case of the 2215, the effective
noise figure is almost identical to that of the 2208. The SNR for the
2215 is stated as -81.3 dBFS, vs -78 dBFS for the 2208. BUT, the 2208
can be clocked at twice the frequency, so the quoted SNR is in twice the
bandwidth. After decimation, the remaining noise would be the same as
in the 2208, I think.
