Hi Everyone,
I was doing some IMD testing on my modified MRI final using Penny as a two tone source after making the changes necessary to operate at 48 volts. I got to a point that nothing changed my IMD at high power 300 watts out. So I put Penny into a pad and connected it to a spectrum analyzer and found the two tone generator IMD is not as clean as penny running SSB or AM. I can get Penny two tone quite clean around -45 dBc IP3 if I reduce the level way down. I wonder if is is a Power SDR setting issue because Penny seems to work great running AM or SSB and looks quite clean with good reports. I was  running the output box at 100 and level between -40 and -20. The 20dB mic preamp was off. TX EQ was off. I can see the two tone IMD on the TX display. It seems to be effected by the two audio frequencies selected but the effect seems minor. On AM with a two tone the level of modulation has a big effect on IMD also. I wonder if it is me?
