Hi all,

In order to use HPSDR in conjuction with a radio, they need to link in some way to sync both frequencies.
Actually there is no direct way to do that, just using third components as 2 x HamRadioDeLuxe, OmniRig, virtual ports, etc. But all of these alternatives are far from ideal and adds a great delay in response.
Ideal way is when the radio is controlled/sync directly by PowerSDR. This exist is called PowerSDR IF-Stage and you can see how good that feature is in next video:

www.youtube.com/watch?v=kFbOzBwIQAk

You can see it is very fast response, virtually no delay. It is PowerSDR IF-Stage and a Yaesu radio but, unfortunately, HPSDR is not recognice by that software.
Works directly, no virtual ports, no third party software, just a CAT cable between PC and radio.

The code for that is GPL too and it is located here: http://code.google.com/p/powersdr-if-stage/

Now the big question, Is anyone able to add that feature to the HPSDR PowerSDR ?

Thank you
