[hpsdr] Power Supply Caution

I use a PC AT power supply for my Metis, Mercury, Penny and Excalibur.  I
use the control line to the supply and a switch on Pandora to turn the
supply off and on.  In addition, I use one of the cables from the AT supply
to run my GPS unit that works with Excalibur. The GPS unit is also connected
via USB to my laptop.  

A couple of days ago I had turned off the switch on Pandora, but noticed
that the LEDs were still on for the boards.  Power was coming into the AT
supply via the GPS and USB from the PC.  Fortunately, I have not been using
Penny or my second Mercury.  I wonder what would have happened to the GPS
unit?  

I have been powering boards up and down to install firmware; while I thought
I was pulling boards with no power applied, this was not the case.

Maybe you all know this issue, but for this who don't, be advised.
