That's because there has not been one.

I mentioned to folks listening to Teamspeak on Friday, out of courtesy so that people could budget their money accordingly, that Hermes will only be available for order during a certain window. Except for a few spares to cover defective boards, TAPR will be making exactly the number of boards ordered and no more. TAPR also has no current plans to make a second run of boards. This means that if you do not order a board through TAPR during the window you will have to obtain your Hermes from another source.

We will also be doing this build prepaid rather than postpaid. Once the number of orders reaches an amount sufficient to support the manufacturing run, TAPR will charge your credit card. Manufacturing will then commence and you will be shipped your board when they are complete.

The details of everything are still being worked out, so please be patient for information. A posting will be made with the entire deal when TAPR is ready to start taking orders. Again, I am merely providing this information as a courtesy to people so that you can allocate your ham radio $localized_currency accordingly. Offer void where prohibited. We reserve the right to change the deal at any time. Your mileage may vary.

And before folks ask, for those masochists who derive perverse pleasure from soldering tiny components on PCBs, there should be some bare PCBs available on this run.
