[hpsdr] Still having trouble

Bill,

I had problems getting PowerSDR to run when I first tried. I had a similar
behavior in that an error window would pop up and I could run the software
until I closed the error window. I'm using Metis, but the problem was
nevertheless caused by some USB dll files. I eventually got some builds of
PowerSDR working, but not all.

See
http://lists.openhpsdr.org/htdig.cgi/hpsdr-openhpsdr.org/2011-November/01626
9.html for my original problem description, and

http://lists.openhpsdr.org/pipermail/hpsdr-openhpsdr.org/2011-November/01628
0.html

for a summary of the problems I had with various repo versions. The one at
the bottom worked for me.

My Windows installation seemed to be failing to resolve some dll
dependencies even though I was doing what worked for others. Once I found a
repo version that worked (probably because it was compiled without the USB
dependencies), I just used it and stopped trying to figure out what Windows
was complaining about with the USB dlls.

I hope this helps you, but your problem may be different.
