[hpsdr] Mercury with HDSDR and Alberto's special Winrad

All,

As an exercise to use Mercury with DSP's other than KISS and PSDR I have
been trying to use Mercury with HDSDR and with Alberto's special Winrad for
HPSDR. Neither DSP will allow me to process RF input from Mercury. Has
anyone had success using either of these DSP's with Mercury?

In my case, with both DSP's the WinUSB drivers will only load on 32 bit
Windows XP machines. The Device Manager displays an "Ozy USB interface of
the HPSDR project" as it should. The WinUSB driver will not load on my 64
bit Win 7 machine. The Device Manager for that computer displays "unknown
device".

In the case of the 32 bit machine, the applications appear to open normally.
The "options" menu correctly displays "HPSDR with Mercury" as the ExtIO.
But, when the application is started, all that is detected is a strong zero
frequency signal in the center of the display. No LO adjustment will change
that display. No input to Mercury is detected.

HDSDR works normally with non-Mercury ExtIO' s on both the 32 bit and 64 bit
machines.

I'm stumped. Anyone with ideas about both the driver problem for 64 bit
machines and the problem of no Mercury output in the 32 bit implementation?

Regards,
John, W7FU
