HPSDR Operators,

The P*SDR_HPSDR_mRX_v3.0.4 release is now live on the download page at <
<http://openhpsdr.org/download.php> http://openhpsdr.org/download.php> .
The following new features and changes are included.

Console:

- Added the "Click Tune Drag" feature, enabled using the "CTUN" button.
When you depress CTUN, the panadapter will be "locked" in its current
position. You then tune around on that fixed panadapter by
clicking/dragging. This is analogous to tuning around on a fixed radio
dial.

-The definition of the "MIC" button has been changed such that it is now lit
when the mic is enabled. I.e., it was "Mic Mute," it is now "Mic Enable."

-The duplex "DUP" function from the single receiver version has been added
to the mRX version.

Setup/Hardware Config:

-Added the ability to assign static IP addresses for up to 4 radios. To use
this, add the correct ip address, then choose it with the radio button on
the right side of the address. You must Click "Set IP" before you start
PowerSDR-this step is only required when you change the IP address, not
every time you run the program.

Setup/Display:

-Moved the Waterfall settings from the Display/General tab to the
Display/RX1 and Display/RX2 tabs. Each Waterfall display can now be set
separately.

-Waterfall low and high threshold settings will be remembered per receiver,
per band.

-Spectrum Grid Max and Min values will be remembered per receiver, per band.

-Added the Waterfall AGC feature by Phil, VK6APH (from the KISS Konsole
project).

-For weak signal enthusiasts, added a new "Low Noise Floor" averaging mode
by Warren, NR0V, on the Display/RX1 and Display/RX2 tabs. Details can be
found at < <http://openhpsdr.org/wiki/images/b/b4/POWERSDR_USER_NOTES.pdf>
http://openhpsdr.org/wiki/images/b/b4/POWERSDR_USER_NOTES.pdf> in the
Panadapter section.

Setup/PA Settings:

-Added a separate Gain By Band form for each of the 5 radios.

Setup/CAT Control:

-Knobs & buttons support: added the MIDI tab to the CAT Control page for
configuring DJ Controllers. Some of the commands may not work correctly with
the HPSDR hardware at this time, i.e. preamp settings.

Setup/XVTR form:

-Removed the UCB column.

-Insured that the RX Only, RX Gain, and Power controls work correctly.

NOTE: Many of the additions and bug fixes resulted in changes to the
database file. If you experience issues with a very low noise floor or
incorrect attenuator settings please delete your database.xml file.

Hope you enjoy the new release!

73,

Doug W5WC
