[hpsdr] Pre-Distortion

Just a general question or two on the pre-distortion feature:

1) Will this be applicable to Atlas/Mercury/Penny based systems too or 
is it just for Hermes based systems?

2) Does the number of amplifiers in the chain matter - for instance my 
Penelope drives Munin which in turn drives my AL-811H (via Alex) - so 
I'm assuming the TX signal going to the antenna is where the sampling 
and feedback would take place.
