[hpsdr] LAN connectivity

Hi,

my HPSDR-setup with Metis and Hermes as well are working fine connected by a
cat6 patch cable with my i3/win7 machine. Using the same hardware with a HP
nx9010 notebook(win XP) only the Metis controlled system is running fine.
Under Hermes I always get the error message: no network cable connected. The
network adapter in the notebook is flashing (searching for connection).

Is there any significant difference between Metis and Hermes concerning the
Ethernet interface?

Any suggestions are appreciated.
