Dear Johan,
That is the correct version for the driver file.  It should also be the version of all
instances of libusb0.dll that is on your system, as well.

The other question is 'what version are all instances of libusb0.dll that you have on your
system'?

How did you update the driver?

What process did you use to remove the original driver, which was of the wrong (too new)
version?

I could be wrong, but I had thought that I had actually tested this on Windows 8.  For
sure, I had tested using Metis or Hermes (Ethernet) on Windows 8.
