[hpsdr] Hermes and high level AM Modulation

One of my favorite modes is AM.

Receive is excellent, but In transmit mode, I would like to use my Hermes
with no modulation as a CW output to drive the high power class C PA and
use PowerSDR MRx for the internal audio processing, to drive an audio amp/
high level modulator.

Would it be possible to divert the modulation audio to a sound card to
drive an external amp chain and somehow mute the mod to the Hermes?
