20:12:00> *** You are now talking in channel: "OpenHPSDR"

20:16:02> "Mike - ae6xm": So, I am likely to have crummy audio,
and this is something that may be able to answered before the
main round table (never have been here before). Does anyone
know if it's readily possible to synchronize the clocks on
multiple Hermes boards for phase-synchronous sampling?

20:18:05> "Mike - ae6xm": I want to have a triangular vertical
array, and FFT all 3 receivers, and produce a screenful of
intensities where X is direction and Y is frequency... phase
shifting the FFT outputs and adding them for peak response from
each input direction.

20:59:32> "John - AJ6BC": Glad you made it Edson!

21:00:23> "Edson - PY2SDR": Hello John. Nice to be here.

21:01:18> "Ken N9VV": 599 Edson - good audio !!

21:04:56> "John - AJ6BC": Welcome Mike - AE6XM.

21:07:47> "Terry WB4JFI": Good to see you here Edson!

21:08:28> "Edson - PY2SDR": Thanks Terry. Nice to be here..

21:08:56> "John - AJ6BC": Phil - will you have time to look at
KHRONOS?

21:09:13> "John - AJ6BC": THANKS!

21:13:17> "Mike - ae6xm": so the overall idea/vision i have, is
about taking FFTs from 3 coherent receivers from the triangular
array.. and then adding those up phase shifted and displaying on
a monitor. X axis could be 'direction of peak response at a
given phase relationship' and Y could be frequency.

21:14:17> "Mike - ae6xm": The most audacious version of it is to
be able to draw with a mouse freehand a combined
spatial-frequency receive filter.. so you could have a narrower
spatial response to notch out some interfering carrier or QSO
for a portion of the range, but a wider spatial response on
other frequencies.

21:15:13> "Mike - ae6xm": i like the idea of the Hermes board in
particular because i could then beam form on transmit too.

21:16:20> "Mike - ae6xm": also have you guys thought about multi
cast at all for this I/Q data stuff?

21:16:20> "Ken N9VV": I believe Joe K5SO may be doing beam
forming for his Radio Astronomy application

21:18:03> "Ken N9VV": Windows 8.1 Pro/64

21:22:16> "Ken N9VV": Apache owners seem to be overwhelmingly
into Win-7 and Win-8 (from my Customer Support experience)

21:22:54> "Ken N9VV": John Melton G0ORX/N6LYT is heavily into
Android coding with support for the Apache products.

21:25:42> "Mike - ae6xm": 73 everyone, thanks for the info

21:25:51> "John - AJ6BC": 73'S!

21:26:01> "Edson - PY2SDR": 73

21:26:06> "Erik KM2G": 73's all
