[hpsdr] Frequency Calibration 100D

I have read here that the automatic frequency calibration does not work. In using it...that seems to be the case. However watching the phase scope in DSB on WWV and adjusting the error setting seems to shift the frequency. Of course there is the drift and the skip issue that can be observed. The question is.......after installation of the new precision TCXO and or improved 10 MHz ext source board will the calibration adjustment be of any use? Or should it never be used?
