A second person reported to me that his stand alone Angelia came with a vertically oriented power connector, so perhaps that’s the default configuration for stand alone boards.  

Also, his board (like my prototype board) came with two PCB “wings” that make it wider than Hermes but those “wings” are simply artifacts of the board production process and can be easily cut off as they do not have any function within Angelia, which I did and you must do if you intend to use the board in a Hermes enclosure.  

The “wings” are attached by short connections to the PCB and can easily be trimmed off using a Dremmel tool or similar tool.
