[hpsdr] Alex Filters & Switching Board

Unless you are in RF rich environment as in Europe or multi-opp contest station environment you probably would not benefit from BPF's in Alex.
Hercules has Tx LPF so Alex is not needed for Tx.
All you need is TX/RX switch arrangement, Gerd's or homebrew.
One thing you do NOT want to do is use Alex TX filters with Hercules and feed Fwr/Rev signals back to Penny from Hercules with Fwr/Rev cable in place from Penelope to Mercury/Alex. Signals from db25 on Penny and Alex will collide in Mercury. Use power bridge in Hercules OR Alex not both. Nor do you want to leave the Fwr/Rev cable in place from Mercury to Penelope when feeding signals into Penelope from external source. Schematics for Penelope and Mercury will make this clear.
