All,

Angelia_v4.1 is available for download from

http://k5so.com/HPSDR_downloads.html

This version of firmware fixes
i) a broken linkage between the ACC-PORT external PTT input and the PTT OUT connector on the ANAN-100D
ii) fixes the “non-break-in-CW-mode” PTT behavior
iii) fixes the Tx spurs reported earlier
iv) fixes REV power on TX

Two additional items were reported to me as “bugs” but they are not due to the firmware; these are due instead to the PowerSDR program and are:

1) Strange RX2 S-meter reading on Tx,

Trouble reports of this issue results from a misunderstanding of how PowerSDR behaves. This message from Doug describes the issue:

Therefore, if the RX2 S-meter readings on Tx are troublesome for you simply uncheck the “Auto Mute RX2 on TX” option in the Setup/RX2 menu in PowerSDR.

2) different RX2 S-meter behavior on 6m between RX2 and RX1.

This was an actual problem within PowerSDR which Doug has kindly fixed in PowerSDR OpenHPSDR mRX PS v3.2.18 (7/30/14).

Thanks to all who helped test the trial versions of this Angelia code and provided fixes to firmware and/or software. As always, if you were a tester, kindly disregard any version of firmware that has a filename of the type *_test.rbf as numbers in such file names do not relate directly to any officially released firmware version. The *_test.rbf nomenclature is simply a temporary file identification scheme that I use for beta testers to distinguish one test version from another during the testing stage.

73, Joe K5SO
