Incidentally, this is the same problem that I reported in like September.  I noticed it because of the increased bandwidth shown on the iPad app on Metis vs. Hermes.  It’s actually why I started writing the Wireshark plugin, because it made it easier to see what was being sent.  I was preparing a wireshark trace to show Phil, but life got in the way.

So, it’s a bug that’s been there for a while.
