I only have the mercury so far, and there is no support yet for xmit. I may be buying an anan
this winter, maybe not. I would be willing to work with someone to crack the xmit nut.

There were all in the original distribution, but when I also did the flrig dist I decided to remove them from Flradio
& flrig to a separate distribution. Just haven't gotten that far yet. I'll try to put together a tarball soon.

Flradio can't co-exist with QtRadio, it replaces Qtradio. The issue is the way control (ie master mode) is managed
by dspserver. I haven't researched this yet, but there appears to be some way for more than one piece of code
to give "master" commands (passwd access, meant for internet steering of the system). This would allow both Qtradio and
Flradio to run at the same time. As to co-ordinating frequency displays, this would probably be easiest by adding an XML-RPC
channel to Qtradio, the mechanism that Flradio and flrig use for co-ordination.

> 3. In the receiver control window what is the function of the RF setting? is this manual RF gain or AGC threshold?
Its a brain-fart of my own making. I'm not sure it is RF gain in the classical sense. What it does is amplify the incoming
signal stream, clipping anything that goes beyond the rails. The intended use is to select a weak signal for decoding
then upping the "gain" to improve its decode. The other signals become distorted (clipped to death) but it does seem to help
with the specific weak signal.

> 4. Also tried to build using the latest fldigi-3.22.01, but the patch fails. Is there any plan to support 3.22.01?
Flrig is my current focus, I have upgraded it to the latest, 1.3.17 (but not on the website yet). It has sucked much more
effort than Flradio. I am attempting to add every possible command from dspserver & hpsdrserver to the panel. I have
worked out a model for pushing new widgets into the HPSDR object, making the creation of new controls much easier than modifying
the flrig mainline code each time, but it is still time consuming. I have all the boolean commands (dither, random, etc.)
implemented as buttons, and am now working on the more complex commands that need multiple numeric args (eg. startaudiostream).

I really need to update the site with my latest Flradio as it includes frequency co-ordination between Flradio & flrig.
It also now uses the main frequency display for tuning, the freq. control in the receiver panel is gone...
I just enjoy coding much more than website maintaince!

later,
Steve
