So to be clear, (I wasn't...) the MBCS addons are found at:
http://www.visualstudio.com/en-us/downloads/download-visual-studio-vs#d-community
And you go to the blue region that says "Multibyte MFC library for Visual Studio 2013",
click it, choose to download, then install.  Afterwards, you can open the PowerSDR
solution, but you need to ensure that the MultiByte Character Set is selected for ALL the
C/C++ projects (all but PowerSDR itself).

I think that the usage of ksguid.lib may be able to be commented out, but I'd like to hear
from K5SO and W5WC on that point.
