In case anybody is curious about parallel programming, here is a course
that gives an introduction to GPU development.

(note this is not a "freebie" after two weeks trial, but reasonable)

They are using CUDA and C to teach the class. no prior GPU experience is
required.

The examples and problem sets compile and execute on the Jetson TK1 board.
You would need to install CUDA and OpenCV development libraries per
