Hi Helmet,

Congratulations on your successes with Envelope Tracking – great progress.  Just one small correction, the PWM frequency from Hermes is 240kHz.

I wonder if you are considering a direct-off-the-mains PWM so that a high current, low voltage supply,  is not needed prior to the PWM ?

I think this would enable a very small and lightweight QRO linear to be built. 

Good luck for your further work in this interesting area.

Envelope tracking (ET) is an advanced method to boost efficiency of linear amplifiers. Many thanks to Phil, VK6PH, and Warren, NR0V, who made the access to the envelope information on Hermes and the necessary baseband processing in PowerSDR possible.
