Hi Joe,

I am talking about the RA display, only. What I expect when reading a
data file into the RA display is, that it looks exactly like the plot I
saw on the RA display when writing to the file.
The fact is, when reading a data file, the RA display shows no plot.
Only the box "# of averaged points collected/saved" changes to the
correct value.
The background of the RA display is white with a grey grid and numbered
y and X scale. Could it be, that the writen plot is also white?

Georg

Indirectly the two displays are related by the fact that the instantaneous signal level shown in the main display makes up a single data point in the RA display during data acquisition. When data is written out to file by the RA utility it is writing the instantaneous signal-level points (as shown in the S-meter on the main PSDR display) to file, not the entire set of measurements that the radio used to obtain each S-meter reading.

The data read into the RA utility has nothing to do with the main RX1 panadapter display in PowerSDR if that’s what you were thinking. The RA utility is independent as far as its data display is concerned.
