Hi Georg,
As per the current HPSDR protocol document (http://svn.tapr.org/repos_sdr_hpsdr/trunk/Documentation/USB_protocol_V1.58.doc), the “disable PA” feature is implemented using control bit C3[7] when C0 = 0001_001x in the Command and Control bytes from the PC to the hardware.
If C3[7] = 1 when C0 = 0001_001x the Alex/ANAN PA T/R relay is disabled, if C3[7] = 0 when C0 = 0001_001x the T/R relay on Alex/ANAN PA is enabled and will therefore respond to T/R mode changes of the hardware.
