Yes you are correct, myVNA is for Windows only.

And it isn't open source code. For me that is not a problem as Dave has always been willing to implement any good functions. I don't need the code.

Yes you do need a activation code. myVNA is so good that commercial companies would love to rip it off.

I use myVNA with my N2PK VNA. Thanks Paul N2PK. I just send Dave a email and he sends back a activation code at no cost. Think you will find you can use it for amateur radio use for free.

Every Windows user can have a look at the features that myVNA has. And decide if they want a very good VNA software for their Hermes/Hermes Lite. Your choice. You do need to read the user manual to see the list of features. Note that it even has a Vector Voltmeter. And signal generator mode with sweep. Don't think you would get a better VNA software for your Hermes.
