all D-Versions of the ANANs (100D, 200D) are equipped with the Angelia
board. D stands for 'dual' and means that 2 independent frontends (Preamp,
LPF, ADC)are employed. As both ADCs are using the same (coherent) 122.88 MHz
sampling oscillator this board is perfectly suited for diversity
applications to improve SNR. To handle the double quantity of data a larger
FPGA is provided. The DDC/DUC architecture and performance is identical with
Hermes.
