I'm re-reading my Metis manual, as I get ready to hook up for CW.

Page 7 of the manual (rev 1.4) says, "NOTE: for the initial release 
(v1.0) of Metis FPGA code JP2 should be inserted," to force ethernet at 
100T.

Perusing the release notes on Metis upgrades, I see nothing about 
enabling gigabit ethernet.

Question:  Is it still necessary to force Metis to operate at 100T?
