Maybe I wasn’t clear - in the HPSDR software you can select various things to show on the meter within the software on TX and one of them is the mic level which is just about the earliest part of the audio chain. If this isn’t showing any input there could be a number of things going on. There could be a hardware issue (wrong mic connection, wrong jumper selection on Penelope for where the mic audio is coming from, wrong wiring or a Problem with Penny) or a software issue - mic configuration is wrong (mic source can be selected to Janus if that option is selected), VAC is enabled and overriding the mic input, mic gain is too low amongst others.
