[hpsdr] Hardware pre distortion?

Vasiliy,

I don’t know whether you ever tried to verify this mentioned screenshot or detect what (additional?) amp at what power level was used for this wonderful screenshot.

Testers reported that the (HPSDR)default figure SetPK=0.4072 in the Calibration information window has to be reduced to 0.1 to get the correction working at all. This figure represents the amplitude of the signal envelope normalized to value 1. For details and deeper information concerning the losses as matter of principle in the DDC/DUC chain please ask Warren.

I wonder what part of the Chris's message implied that he was "obviously" not satisfied with the pure signal performance? :)

At the bottom of this page http://pavel-demin.github.io/red-pitaya-notes/sdr-transceiver-hpsdr/ there is a screenshot of what looks like an excellent improvement after applying the PS.

Also could you point to the discussion about losses in DDC/DUC chain in red pitaya?..
