Glen,

Here are some internal photos of an ANAN-100D from the initial time I
opened it up.

First is the PA/Filter CCA. This rides in a slot in the extruded housing
that is closest to the extrusion (top surface of the radio when it is
together). The pre and final driver FETs are attached to the CCA in a way
that allows them to be securely attached to the extruded housing in order
to use it as a heatsink. There are some thermal gap-filler pads that are
located under the CCA in a couple of places to prevent it bending and
touching the backside of the CCA to the extruded housing.

Next is the center shield plate, which rides in a slot in the extruded
housing mid-way up the side.

Lastly is the plate that rides in the bottom slot in the extruded housing
and that forms the bottom cover, as well as the rear panel assembly. It
holds the switching power supply unit, the power switch, fan and Angelia
CCA and housing feet. It should be noted that this radio has the external
switching modification for PureSignal, so there are a couple of extra
connectors and cables.

Dis-assembly/assembly is somewhat difficult given the routing of the cables
through the center shield plate, requiring the various parts and pieces to
be slide back and forth, and some tight work with an SMA wrench in some
places. The power connector from the bottom plate to the PA/Filter CCA is
particularly difficult to manipulate.
