[hpsdr] "Hochleistung-Linearendstufe mit Envelope-Tracking-Steurung"

Hi Bert,
At http://openhpsdr.org/wiki/index.php?title=THOR you can see more about EER and recognize that the switched class D/E amps usually need a matching network for each band, while the ET (envelope tracking) principle can employ standard class A/B power amps.
That’s the reason why HB9EPU and I stopped an EER project in 2012 based on Atlas boards. Things became very attractive again with Phil’s Envelope-PWM-Converter implemented in Hermes and Warren’s PS application.
BTW a nice paper is available here https://www.rohde-schwarz.com/us/applications/envelope-tracking-and-digital-pre-distortion-test-solution-for-rf-amplifiers-application-note_56280-54791.html

Hi,
Maybe the reasons which one is better and why, will become clear in the
rest of his article.
