[hpsdr] Lists error on search

Hi Helmut

That was a surprise for quite a lot of people. In fact, those USB Blaster clones gave good results during many years. The "STM32" version appears rather recently... with it's series of troubles. 

The problem is that most Chinese resellers don't even know which kind of MCU they sell... and sellers known to have Atmel clone could suddendly sell STM devices... depending on the supplying.

 I learned it the hard way, with a bsod an a crash 5 days before a GNURadio worshop I had to do

Now, my Atmel clone is securely kept in a safe ,- )

Wow, thanks for that information, Marc. Since more than 7 years I never detected a problem with my China made clone, labeled 'Altera USB Blaster'. I run this device with Quartus II 12.0sp2 Programmer.

Hi Terry
I can't directly answer concerning the query format, but the USB Blaster clone problem has been spotted (and solved) by many people on the "Hermes Lite" mailing list. 
Clone based on a STM32 processor are prone to crash (or worth, I had a hard drive corruption). Other clones based on Atmel processor seems to run smoothly
