[hpsdr] Protocol 1 firmware updates for 7000DLE/7000DLE MkII/8000DLE

For what it’s worth here are my findings using a 7000DLE regarding the versions of Orion MkII firmware that were posted to the repository today: 

v2.4: baseline RX noise level is good, baseline TX noise level is good, Pure Signal functions properly

v2.5: baseline RX noise level is good, baseline TX noise level is very high, Pure Signal does not function properly

v2.6: baseline RX noise level is good, baseline TX noise level is very high, Pure Signal does not function properly. 

I will work on finding a timing solution that works on this 7000DLE, beginning with v2.6 and then ask others to test it.  Thanks for your patience.  

At the moment I don’t know what changes have been implemented in the source code with regard to Tx attenuator functionality between v2.4 and the later versions but a quick review of the release notes will reveal them, of course.   Please be patient while we try to find a timing solution that is satisfactory while implementing the changes through v2.6.  

A new version, v2.7, will be released when the effort is successful.  Thank you.
