and still love the 2N5109. </DIV>

2N5109, which hasn't been made for some years. The Infineon BFP193 seems to be a
somewhat better device, is currently in production, and is available quite
cheaply here in the UK from RS Components. It won't work at 12V, though.
It's SMT, of course.</FONT></DIV>
