Well mine had a boot print on it, but I just snapped them in and fired
the atlas up all the lights came on and none of the smoke showed up. I
will fun them for several hours this weekend when I get the cable
built. Here are the pictures, My mail lady signed my box and checked
the square that said damaged, and I kept all of the packaging.<br>

My boards arrived yesterday, but it looked as though an elephant had
sat on the box. Needless to say, I took some photographs of the
package and carefully saved the front of the package, with the
insurance number, etc.
I wonder what the details of the insurance are? I'm kind of concerned
that there could be invisible damage due to flexing of the boards,
that won't show up until later. These are kind of difficult to test
now, without having all of the needed hardware and software. Has
anyone else had any real problems due to shipping damage?
Regardless, I've been showing them around the office and everyone is
impressed. Kudos to all of the various gurus who have been working
hard to get them designed, built, and shipped :-).

I picked up the Janus and Ozy boards at my local post office on Wednesday.
My local postmaster was a bit concerned (they were shipped insured) about
the condition of the Priority Mail box.
Looks like my Priority Mail shipment box was out in a Texas rainstorm (left
out in thunderstorm at the airport?) before arriving in Chicago. The USPS
Priority Mail box had gotten so wet .... that the blue ink on the box had
run!
Both boards appear okay in their anti-static bags.
Guess my unit passed the Apollo 12 testing regime --
as the late Peter Conrad, commander of that mission quipped on that December
1969 launch day [as the launch vehicle was hit by lightning] -- I think we
need a bit more "all weather testing" :-)
The board construction looks great. Now to finish Atlas and select an
enclosure/power supply !
