<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>I commented a few weeks ago, that I could not get
WSJT to run properly with my 1 watt SDR1000, in that it would crash quite
quickly after</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>starting, and I could not find the
answer.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>I now have my Atlas/janus/Ozy board running and
controlling the SDR1000 and miracles, WSJT appears to be stable,</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>so far it has been running for a couple
of hours monitoring /showing the RTTY contest activity on
20meters.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>wth a very good waterfall, (I wish other programs
could match Joe Taylor's WSJT )waterfall. Sure it is optimised for EME but
it is easy</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>to see signals.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Today I set the background noise level as 1db on
the WSJT screen and it varies upwards from there, depending on the strength of
the incoming RTTy signal.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Whereas before it would be set at 1db and then take
sudden dives down to -20db which completely ruined the decoding.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>Can someone please, </FONT><FONT face=Arial
size=2>try to enlighten me why, WSJT should be more stable via the Atlas
platform, than on an XP computer</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>or am I dreaming and it is just plain dumb
luck.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT> </DIV>
