Do they say what the signal to noise ratio is? From that one can work
out the effective noise figure, and hence the amount of RF gain needed
in front of it. It is this parameter that limits the BDR in the
LTC2208.<br>
<br>
The other biggie, of course is the SFDR.<br>

It definitely gets faster. If it is 16 bits then it now admits (160 -
old_high_bar_sample_rate)/2 more bandwidth noise into the A/D than
previous versions (assuming a brick wall Nyquist rate low pass filter in
front of it) and it certainly will cost more..
I know you don't need to be told but others might that higher sample
rates are good if you need them and not if you don't.
