to drive my Sommerkamp SLA300 linier but I cannot get it to produce good audio
for some reason. If I bypass it my audio is good, but when in circuit my audio
is said to be very </FONT><FONT face=Arial size=2>restricted. I have checked
every thing, but cannot find anything wrong. Any adjustments to biasing
make no difference, I have checked toriods</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>for correct winding etc, fitted ferrites to
everything but makes no difference.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>No adjustment of output from Penny makes any
difference to problem.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>If I scope in and out they look
perfect.</FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>I get about 40 watts out of SLA300 amp when I
bypass driver amp and over 300 watts in circuit. </FONT></DIV></FONT></DIV>

working OK.</FONT></DIV>

(in kit form) is the SDR "preamp" from Virgil Stamps, K5OOR. I just
received that particular kit yesterday and though I haven't assembled it, the
