<DIV><FONT size=2>I have found a simple fix for anbody still concerned about the 

Mercury ADC. I formed an upturned Omega shape from a strip of copper shim stock 

about  50mm by 8mm. Just made the width at the top of the omega  the 

same as the pcb heat pad and soldered it on. Plenty of heat on the dissapator so 

obviously pulling the excess out nicely.</FONT></DIV>
