<DIV>I am trying to program my mercury and penny using a USB Blaster clone just out of curiosity, the boards are powered off and the cable connected to the SCONFIG header (have verified that the pins are correctly matched), however, I am getting an error "can't recognize silicon id for device 1" for both penny and Mercury (I have replaced the 220E resistor on Mercury with a 22E).</DIV>

<DIV>BTW: the boards are OK and can be programmed via OZY without a problem, the USB Blaster is tested to be working on an Altera EVM board</DIV>
