1) With a bare PCB, perhaps I will be able to have an Alex board ready
for the bands that interest me in a week instead of a couple of months.<br>

but rather that of enjoying myself by learning from what I do. And <br>
building things is also a form of learning.<br>

These at least are the main reasons why I would like to have a bare
PCB, the sooner the better, but I understand from the latest message<br>
of John Ackermann that this could disrupt the financial planning TAPR
has done, and this, given the efforts they demonstrated so far for the<br>
successful completion or advancement of the HPSDR project, would be a
negative thing. For this, and only this, reason, I am willing to retreat<br>
my request, to not cause them troubles.<br>
